National Diversity & Inclusion Awards 2025 recognition for The iNUA Hotel Collection

The iNUA Hotel Collection is proud to announce its nomination as a finalist for the Advancing Disability Equality Award at the National Diversity & Inclusion Awards 2025. Recognised for impactful work in advancing disability equality, The iNUA Hotel Collection stands alongside other notable finalists, including Allianz Ireland, Aura Holohan Group, Circle K, Cook Medical, and ESB.

The Advancing Disability Equality Award, celebrates organisations that have demonstrated leadership in creating more inclusive workplaces for individuals with disabilities. This recognition acknowledges The iNUA Hotel Collection’s longstanding commitment to fostering an inclusive environment through its partnership with Down Syndrome Ireland (DSI). Since 2019, The iNUA Hotel Collection has successfully employed 25 colleagues through DSI’s National Employment Programme, with a 100% retention rate and over 100 years of combined service across these roles.

Through this partnership, The iNUA Hotel Collection has not only provided sustainable employment but also raised over €135,000 for DSI, helping fund important initiatives such as the National Speech and Language Therapy Programme. The company’s inclusive culture is further demonstrated by the training of 80 managers in Inclusive Leadership and the introduction of policies that ensure an accessible and supportive environment for all employees. This dedication to diversity and inclusion earned The iNUA Hotel Collection a Silver Accreditation from The Irish Centre for Diversity in 2024, following a Bronze accreditation in 2023.

In addition, our Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa in Sligo has been a pioneer in creating autism-friendly spaces for guests and colleagues, further expanding the company’s commitment to accessibility. Their sensory-friendly initiatives, including a Wellness and Sensory Trail, highlight the importance of providing an inclusive and supportive experience for all.

The National Diversity & Inclusion Awards 2025 took place at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road, Dublin, on February 7th, with over 700 industry leaders, influencers, and change-makers attending. The winners will be announced at the gala, celebrating the best in workplace diversity and inclusion across Ireland.
